How Did You meet?
Tom and Karen met their senior year in high school during movie night. They had mutual friends who attended the same movie where Karen sat in front of Tom. Tom briefly spoke to Karen that evening and offered her a ride home, which she wisely declined because she did not know me. The next week a mutual friend invited Karen to an all day church retreat (which allowed students to be out of school at the retreat center all day). Tom and Karen spent the entire day getting to know each other on a deeper level through the church retreat activities. By the end of the day Tom asked Karen on a date. That evening, they went home to eat dinner and then met at the high school to watch a basketball game together. After several games of thumb wrestling and a shared bag of popcorn they were dating, and quickly fell head over heels in love.
"I met my best friend and soul mate, so we could not help but fall in love. I purchased a promise ring for her that fall, and we got married near the end of college," says Tom.

Our goals in life continue to be to grow in faith, continue to feed our relationship with love, honor, trust and respect, and to watch our wonderful daughters build their adult lives. We will continue to work in our careers, and we feel that we are very flexible in life and can roll with the changes and challenges. We like to work hard to remind ourselves to be humble and have humility. Our experience with family vlogging through our FROSTY Life social media sites is likely to continue as we walk through life. We like to place my efforts toward sharing moments that benefit and help others.
